CFDA Project

I have created this collection, for all women but also with petite woman in mind; to honor Asian culture and to bring awareness to the Stop Asian Hate Movement. I use Angel Island, which is a part of Asian immigration history in the United States to support the many narratives of Chinese immigrants. Since the Coronavirus, Asians have been targeted and blamed for the pandemic. Unlike the past, today Asian Americans are speaking out against prejudice and acts of violence. I want my collection to demonstrate what the Asian experience means to me and empower the Asian community.
